A name ben a mother’s name, and a hospital. You stop, you say a few kapitlach, you daven for a Yid you never met. Then comes the message you were davening not to get.
That one comes with no instructions. You read it, you feel it, maybe you go to the levaya, and you move on.
There is no third message.
Nobody texts you a week later saying he still needs you. But he does. More than he did in the hospital.
The people who need zechusim most are those who can no longer earn them.

Yitzchok Rosenberg
On August 28, 2026, Yitzchok Rosenberg was niftar from his injuries after he, his mother and his sister were struck by a vehicle in a parking lot in Jackson, NJ. He was approximately eight months old. His mother, Golda Chana bas Leah Shaindel, and his sister, Rochel bas Golda Chana, may they have a refuah shelaima, were injured in the same incident.
